The ruler of the Russian Federation, Tsar Nicholas II, has abdicated the throne.
The Bolsheviks have placed him and his family under house arrest in Alexander Palace.
You are a diplomat sent to negotiate with the new regime.
But, the newly formed government suspects you of being a spy. You are thrown into prison, where you await your inevitable fate.
One night, you have a nightmare.
You see a gruesome scene: a dark, dingy basement, covered in blood, with walls covered in bullet holes. You see dead bodies of young women and men. It is the Tsar's family.
You wake up in a cold sweat, and make a decision.
When the morning guard comes in to check on you, you'll kill him, take his gun and make your escape.
